Rich with history, the Hotel Marblehead, a Lark property, is the perfect place to escape for your coastal New England getaway. This Victorian home, now a boutique hotel, was originally built in 1871. It changed hands several times until it was converted into a “summer guest house” known as Pleasant Manor in the early 1920s – in fact, Amelia Earhart and her mother were guests at the inn in 1923. It operated as an inn for many years and it became the Hotel Marblehead in 2011 when the property was updated in a nautical, mid-century modern style to pay homage to its historical past while offering today’s guests a comfortable, modern boutique stay experience. Complimentary outdoor activities including bicycles for use during your stay.
