Clark House Inn

The Clark House Inn was the home of John Clark, the founder of Clarksdale. Consequently, it is filled with history and is one of the oldest existing buildings in Clarksdale. Due to its historical importance, the house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Right next door, guests will see the historic Cutrer Mansion, home to John Clark’s daughter, Blanche, & her husband, J.W. Cutrer.
The home is situated on two acres adjacent to the Little Sunflower River, and has been extensively refurbished and beautifully redecorated as a residential inn.
All guests are welcome in the common areas of the main house, which include a living room/parlor, a library and the dining room. Furthermore, a refrigerator is available in the kitchen for guests’ beverages and snacks. Most importantly, a self-serve continental breakfast is included for all guests.
